Columbia-Pacific National Heritage Area

Following the success of the Lewis & Clark
Bicentennial, our congressional delegations are pursuing a
National Heritage Area designation for the region of the
mouth of the Columbia River region in Oregon and
Washington. The "Destination: the Pacific" group is
spearheading local efforts. The bills are S.257 and
